I have my labor approved as consultant but the Occ code is 189.167.030 which is Program Manager. I am not sure which one is valid. Also when using AC21 should the new job description match the responsibilities stated for the Job Description or what the employer described as job duties in the application?
Any thoughts???

Since I have made an interview appointment at US embassy in my country in early June. If it only lasts to June 30, I will cancel the interview. Thanks again.

When they extend your h1 they give you new I94. If you go to your home country and reenter on the old visa , you get a new I94 valid until june30 only from port of entry. My lawyer cautioned me about this once because your latest I94 (short validity) may be the valid one. I am not sure about this but I remember getting cautioned about traveling while H1B extension application is pending. I had to have my H1 approval mailed to me and show the new extension at the port of entry so that I get a valid I94 with new valid date.
Talk to an Attorney when in doubt.

I'm assuming you are Indian like most of us on this site. remember THIS country would be in big trouble with Indians working in all kinds of institutions working in the sciences and IT. The whole country would go down the pan. I work for an IT recruitment firm, 80% of our employees that are out on assignment are Indian and i think the govenment knows that..

I am new member and will appreciate anybody clarifies my concerns regarding my I-485 filed on july 2nd.
My employer asked me to send my 485 application directly to NSC instead of attorney Since there was a wide spread rumor last month( june ) end that USCIS going to accept the applications that are going reach them only on July 2nd and I did exactly the same thing. NSC received my application by July 2 at 7:30am.
I properly signed my set of applications (485,765,131,134,325a,g28) and my wife did the same with her set.
I didn't give attorney info on any of the applications except on G-28 FORM.
BUT there is no attorney signature on G-28 FORM since I filed on my own and Is going to create any problem, I mean is there any possibility that USCIS GOING to reject My application? Your help greatly appreciated.

485 received at NSC on July 2, 2007

The priority dates cannot be ported during the I-140 stage. This can be done only during 485 filing where in you have two I-140s approved and a request can be made to use the earlier priority date.

Unless you specifically say what your status is, what the dues are for, the agency that could help you cannot be determined.
State Labor Department, US DOL Wage and Hour division or a civil/small claims case are your options depending on your state laws.

Can you please tell me what is "Letter of Acquirement’'
My company is Acquired too, the New Employer just gave me a Letter Copy
explaining the Merger, NO Official docs were shared with me.
From whom did u get this letter.
No need of new H1 if company 'B's' HR has agreed to continue with 'A''s employees.
1. Get a EVL letter from company 'B'. (This is assuming name of 'A' will change to 'B' or new name.
2. You need to get a "Letter of Acquirement" from HR of new company (I am assuming that the name of the company is changing as well). If name does not change then you should be fine. If you have to travel out of US, you need to carry latest copy of EVL(of new company) and "Letter of Acquirement" along with you. (I went thru these few years back, PwCC bought over by IBM, immediately after the takeover I travelled out of US and came back without any problems(on H1)) this was quite a while back though, you may want to check with your company attorney though.
Note:

We gave for fingerprints 5 days back but our LUD on I-485 is not yet updated. Is this common?

Is it a bad idea to ask for help from the indian government, there are ministers like "Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs - Vayalar Ravi" who is supposed to look into issues we are having here, even if contacting them doesn't help, it atleast will not hurt us. i think there are few good ministers in there who can understand our problems, they may not help us with $$ but may be able to help us with their lobbying groups.
i think "Ronen Sen - India's ambassador to USA" is another person who will be sympathetic to our cause.

Congress is not listening to the Citizen Tech lobbyist, It will listen to Indian Ministers to make us Citizens. India wants all its citizens to become america citizens soon, there should be a separate provision for Indians. India wants to kick all the skilled people out of their country.

I think you should probably consult a good local immigration attorney who should have some access to the IO or his supervisor so that the AOS is not improperly denied. I don't know how useful an infopass appointment would be. That can vary greatly from office to office.
If the AOS is denied, you can refile or you can file a motion to reconsider. There are significant filing fees for both, as well as delay.

EB2-India has been retrogressed throughout 2006. If your PD is 2006, how did you file your I-485? Are you counting July 2007 filing? Dont count that, see the first post
