I was going through some comments by some folks in this forum (http://www.nyjournalnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070711/NEWS02/707110350) - and one of them says - how come these guys were silent when they were pressing for Illegal Immigration reforms? What the heck? You live in this country on a budget with your employer and they expect you to solve the problems of this country.

our notice date on receipt is Sept 12, 2007....but no FP notice yet!
How long does it take to get FP notice? one of our fren got receipt later than us but already got FP notice ....

Thanks for the offer. I am not sure if I have permission to shoot any thing on a federal govt agency premises, but will do my best. My sources tell me that some main stream media will cover it. For us to be able to make a good impact, we need to have people there.
As USCIS announced about forwarding Flowers to Hospitals , some one can go to those hospitals and cover that.

Some reactions:
On the rainbow shot, I would clone or crop out the dead twig on the right. Cropping is probably the better option because it will call more attention to the rainbow. I tried to process the image to bring the rainbow out more, but didn't have much success. Maybe someone else can help or maybe it can't be done.
I recropped the flower image and did a little minor processing to bring out more of the detail, particularly in the highlights.
Hope you don't mind me adjusting and reposting your images.

What do you mean by legal basis. He agreed to pay $2 to company A (in email) until the project ends. If this is correct, he should continue paying $2 to company A. Since the OP stopped paying $2 , company A wants to make sure that the project ended.

You may have ....I did not. The so called software professionals have no other avenue than coming through the bodyshops. Infy, TCS and Wippro are no different than other desi bodyshops. I am a July 2nd filer with PD of OCT 2006. I am planning to switch my employer using EAD. Should I notify USCIS with AC21? What is my best option? What is the risk?

There are two options here:
1. Document that you are porting using AC 21; keep the documentation with lawyer but do not send it to the USCIS
2. Send the above documentation to USCIS.
The best option for YOU depends on specifics of the case: details of PERM (job title, job description, prevailing wage, location etc), your new job (job title, job description, wage, location, financial stability of the company etc) and your immigration history. (any out of status time etc). This decision is best made by a competent lawyer so that you do not face problems in future.
I will highly advise you to get help from a good and competent lawyer; it's money worth spent.

The U.S. Department of State (DOS) Visa Bulletin for January 2008 contains more bad news for Indian nationals in the EB2 category. The cutoff date for EB2, India, retrogressed by two additional years, to January 1, 2000. Moreover, the prediction contained in the Visa Bulletin for EB2, India, is that the annual limit could be reached within the next few months. If this occurs, the category will become "unavailable" for the remainder of the fiscal year.
The explanation for this is simply that demand for visa numbers by the USCIS for EB2, India, adjustment-of-status cases far exceeds supply
EB3 cutoff dates either remained unchanged or moved slightly forward, depending upon country of chargeability. The January Visa Bulletin cutoff dates become effective on January 1, 2008. Until that time, the December 2007 Visa Bulletin cutoff dates remain valid.

Oh well, since the employer H1 approval copy does not have an attached I-94, we cannot conclude anything. File a I-824 for your H1 first, I believe your employer needs to file the I-824 for H1.....For H-4, you can do it yourself since its a personal petition....Then have your employer or employer's attorney contact USCIS and enquire whether your Extension of Status was approved as well (meaning H1 approval had an attached I-94). If thats not possible, you will have to wait till your I-824s are processed and you get new copies of the approvals to check if they have attached I-94s.

This is one BIG STUPID mistake by your lawyer that can potentially ruin your life. I am hoping for the best for you on the other hand I wish the stupid attorney of yours should be sued in case your application is not accepted.

H4 visa holder can pursue their studies in US but they cannot work while studying.
he/she should stay in H4 visa if you filed (or want to file) I-485 based on your dependent's I-485 application because F1 visa holders are not eligible for I-485 dependent benefits and changing from H4 to F1 will cancel the I-485 application if he/she already filed based on dependent application.
so better to stay in H4 if you filed or want to file I-485 based on your dependent's application until you get GC.
My wife is completing 6 years on H1 visa in Sept 07. She is planning to join school which will isssue her I-20. The school starts in Aug07 and she need to go to India for 2 weeks in Nov 07.
Can she get H4 stamped from canada on my H1B, so that she do not face F1 rejection in india?
