I have just gone thru March recording of IV lawyer call and the below caught my attention. Ms Susan mentioned that any company name change after I140 approval has to refile I 140. I am utterly confused as that particular scenario affect me and i would like to know what best course of action i can take at this point.
I filed LC and I 140 with company A
My I 140 got approved
Before i filed my I 485 my company changed its name
I asked my attorney at that time if we need to take any special action
Attorney said they can just add an amendment while applying for I 485 about name change and apply with approved I 140, which is with old company name.
I and my wife work on EAD for past 3 years and i am still employed with same company. I wonder which one of above attorney is correct and what i should do.
Does the fact that my I485 is pending for more than 180 days after approval of my I 140 will come to rescue in case of question about company name change (AC21)

Assuming his I-140 gets rejected, is it going to impact his current EB3 process ? Remember, he is going to be on board with the new company only after I-140 process. By the way, new Labor will take atleast 5-6 months. Advertising, etc

My fianc� is on a tourist visa and I am on a H1B visa, we are planning to get married while she is on a tourist visa? Is that okay to do so, any restrictions?
Second question After marriage can I convert her visa to H4 dependant visa while she is here, so that she can stay with me without going back? Does she have to go out of the country for this conversion to happen?
Also if she wishes to go out of the US on the tourist visa after we get married can she still apply for a dependant visa H4 to come here ? Will that cause any issues for her?
Which one is better to do, marry and apply for her conversion right away over here or should she go back and apply from outside the country?

On page 7 of the Instructions for Form I765, under RENEWAL EAD, it is mentioned that no filing fee is required if we are applying under the category (c)(9) or (c)(16) Adjustment applicant who applied after July 30, 2007.
I applied in the 2nd week of August 2007 (but it was still in the July 2007 fiasco). So do I need to send application fee when I send my I765 application for renewal??

I am still listening to the conference call as I write this. So far, the CIS has really taken it on the chin by all but one speaker. The comments have ranged from mild criticism to demands that the memo be withdrawn. I was able to get in and ask whether anyone had actually read the legal authorities they cited? They very carefully avoided answering.

I not really a master webmaster but I did some jobs in the recent past and they were satisfied. :)
I think it is great to have a product intro to your project. since it's dogs it should feature dogs. dogs look great over a white background I think with some text or paragraph on the left. If you will used flash add some dog sounds of different breeds.
That's about all I could think of. Hope it helps!

Hi Guys,
Just some few questions. Me and my wife are in separate H1 visas. I got my 140 and 485 applied thro my compnay and my wife has gotten her EAD and AP. She is thinking of switching jobs now with her EAD. I understand that her H1 status expires if she does that.
Here is my predicament. I know it's far fetched. but wanted to throw it out to get some opinions.
say my wife quits her current job and takes up another position with her EAD and then 6 months down the road i dont get my 140 approved and i'm fired. Here are the list of questions i have
1) the EAD expires october so we have to file the ead around june to get it renewed, will it be valid for the time period it is specified even though i dont have my original job? (i'm planning to apply for my EAD now). i'm hoping i dont get fired by then..
2) Can we invoke AC21 in this situation? will it work?
3) is it too risky to change now or wait till the 140 approved?
4) can the compnay revoke the 140 after 180 days whether it is approved or not? i'm prety positive that they wont..but u never know...
if she dont change her job the whole premise of having the EAD is a joke. she still have to slug it out with her consultant. I know it's all just hypothetical but any suggestions/comments would be appreciated. please throw your thoughts in.
