Hi
This is my first post and I would like to know if there will be any issue if the name on SSN & EAD not matching?
i.e.
My Name On
FirstName MiddleName LastName
SSN is : RAMAKRISHNA PRASAD BARU
LastName FirstName MiddleName
EAD is : BARU RAMAKRISHNA P

Whats wrong with this.Ur last name is still Baru .In my old L2 EAD I see c,a b where c is my last name ,a my first name and b my middle initial.There should be a comma after your lastname in EAD card right?U r OK.

They do random inspection on applications. Some people who have no work permit are being inspected if they are working illegally and some are found to be.....even if they do not accept pay or just saying they are volunteers.....
I guess you're being inspected. If you're not working without a work permit, you should be ok.

I did some research and found out that American sentinel is not in Sevis approved list:

Check out the universities that are approved by SEVIS.

Just to be contrarian, I think the recent H1-B and L-1 fee increase is an opportunity. Instead of playing a victim of legislative abuse, we should come out batting with an offense. We should get businesses to lobby for us. We should get congress people educated about the unfairness. We should not say the fee is wrong, because these are after all elected officials and they will not jeopardize their election prospects by going against this measure. So we should say ok take this fee but then provide us with administrative fixes that we want.
The H1B/L1 fees is designed to hit the body shopping business model. It is nothing but a
legal/labor cost arbitrage that most indian IT service shops follow.
The fees is not the last but the beginning and more will be piled on as they will come back again in a year or so to fund more "secure the mexican border" initiatives. It is a beast that can never be satisfied. The American It companies are not impacted by the 50% rules and they care less about it. So it the resistance effort will be very minimal...like it happened this time.

Hi all, I hope someone can provide me with some advice.
I made an awful mistake today. I am in the middle of an H1-B transfer (company just signed application and sent to lawyer for sending to uscis this week) and moving to a different city for this job. I am moving this week and will commute to my old job until my notice gets accepted. My issue:
I had prepared my AR-11 (change of address form) and had it sitting on my desk ready to be mailed once my application was approved (since my application and all documents had my old address from when they started the process). I took the envelope with other mail by mistake today and put it in the mail.
Will this be an issue with the application? I don't know if they'll deny my transfer because of an address discrepancy or something.
Please advise.

Few friends of my whose PD were in 2003 had got their GC no matter the current opening is for Jul2001, since you have already applied for ur I-485, I think it would be better for you to wait & watch for some more time and join company B on EAD with contract to hire position.
Or else you can start ur EB2 processing also through Company B and then later I think there is a way to make us of PD of EB3 when filling for ur I485.

How do you know that your case has been transferred from NSC to TSC.
Receipt has address of issuing office at the bottom of it. I also had nothing showing up in the system until yesterday, but today, our EAD's are in the system, but not I-485 or I-131. Perhaps EAD is considered a priority.

While you could have two H1B with two different employers, it is logically impossible for both to be full-time positions. So logically, you could have one full-time position and one part-time position or both as part-time positions. In either case you I-129 will have to be amended to show that you are in part-time position with the employer.

Currently working with Company A, where I have I-140 approved. The employer is willing to file I-485. Also have a better offer with Company B, and have H1B approved. Is it possible for me to take leave from company A (using my PTO) and joint company B, keeping both jobs on H1B status?
As my H1B is valid with 2 companies, and both are for full time positions. Is it okay for me to be actively employed with both companies at the same time for 2 or 3 months? Do I violate any H1B regulation, that may cause denial of I-485 at later stage?
